We Create Confident Smiles
With Dental Braces

Braces & Clear Aligners are the perfect fit for you if:
- You have crowded, crooked, or gapped teeth
- You have an overbite, underbite, or crossbite
- You struggle with chewing, speech, or jaw discomfort
- You want a healthier smile that’s easier to clean
- You’re looking for a discreet option like Invisalign to straighten your teeth

Traditional Dental Braces vs. Clear Aligners
Traditional braces are more affordable and work better for serious bite issues, but they’re more visible and less comfortable. Clear aligners are nearly invisible, more comfortable, and often work faster—but they cost more and must be worn most of the day. The best choice depends on your goals and lifestyle, and we can help you make the decision that's right for you.

FAQs About Braces and Orthodontics
What is the best age for dental braces?
At Fabulous dentistry in Houston, Tx we recommend an orthodontic evaluation by the time your child reaches the age of 7. At this stage of development, your child has a combination of adult and baby teeth, giving Dr. Garcia a preview of what their smile will look like in the future.
At this time Dr. Garcia can detect potential severe problems and (if needed) fix them at the right time so that your child will not need more invasive and expensive problems in the future (such as teeth extractions, expensive jaw surgery, exposure of impacted teeth, breathing issues, etc).
Let’s make sure your child will have a gift they will always treasure- a confident beautiful smile.
How long will I need to wear braces?
The time it takes to straighten your teeth with dental braces depends on the severity of your case. In some cases, it can take 6 months. For others, it can be 2 years. The good news is that our new orthodontic techniques allow us to straighten your teeth in the shortest amount of time possible.

How painful are braces?
“I’m worried about the pain.”
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Some patients experience no pain whatsoever while other patients experience moderate to significant pain a few days after placing their braces. Every person is unique and it all depends on your pain tolerance. However, taking pain relievers and doing warm salt water rinses help alleviate the discomfort. We also provide you with wax that can help with a wire or bracket that may be irritating you. Please remember that the long term results outweigh any discomfort you may experience in the short term, none of our patients has ever regretted getting braces!
